Electrolytes and Absorption

ElectrolytesIf electrolytes are deficient the body will be less likely to use nutrients from food and vitamins. The body uses oxygen to turn nutrients into energy. Electrolytes are the basis of good health. They are used in the maintenance and repair of all tissue, the utilization of amino acids and are the basis of every physical and neurological function.

Electrolytes are important for food metabolism – for example: if chromium is missing fats it will not be broken down and absorbed. Electrolytes also enable the body to make enzymes which not only digest food but enable the body to digest fats, helping to keep arteries clean. This formulation allows biovection through the cell walls, a process that helps draw nutrients into the cell where they are needed. Absorption of the trace-minerals actually begins in the mouth and is not dependent on the digestive product to activate it.

Electrolytes are the building blocks of the body. They are the first solution given to a patient who is admitted into the hospital. Historically people received electrolytes from mineral-rich water, but today filtering removes the minerals needed to form electrolytes. Mineral deficient soil from modern farming methods cannot produce mineral-rich foods anymore. We can supplement our water with electrolyte-forming minerals in the proper combination.

Each cell is a biological battery! The force between the inside and outside cell wall is a liquid pressure that's sustained by electrolytes—without the right electrolytes in correct ratios, cells can't maintain this inner-outer pressure, they weaken and become vulnerable to parasites.

Electrolytes are important because they are what your cells (especially nerve, heart, muscle) use to maintain voltages across their cell membranes and to carry electrical impulses (nerve impulses, muscle contractions) across themselves and to other cells. Your kidneys work to keep the electrolyte concentrations in your blood constant despite changes in your body. For example, when you exercise heavily, you lose electrolytes in your sweat, particularly sodium and potassium. These electrolytes must be replaced to keep the electrolyte concentrations of your body fluids constant. Electrolytes also supply oxygen for peak brain function and proper nervous system response. Only electrolytes can supply the energy for the firing of micro-electric impulses across the synapses of the brain. The body uses oxygen to turn nutrients into energy through process of bio-oxidation – electrolytes help the oxygen create a chemical reaction that ultimately allows the body to burn the nutrients as fuel. If electrolytes are deficient the body will be less likely to use nutrients from food and vitamins.

Trace Minerals and Electrolytes Will Help:
Raise osmotic pressure level of cells to keep them strong.
Re-establish healthy pH levels.
Enhance uptake of vitamins, macro minerals, proteins and other essential nutrients from natural food sources or dietary supplements.
Increase oxygen uptake at the cellular level.
Increase body enzyme production.
Play a role in detoxifying cells.
